DC seriously screwed up here. The fan base for these classic characters is not going to support a re-imagined Alan Scott as a gay green lantern. They just killed this series before it even got off the ground.

In a recent interview a DC editor said there was another Earth 2 character making the same U turn, and after reading Worlds Finest #2 I think it's Huntress (maybe PG too), the story wasn't bad but this down your throat attitude is, so there will be no green Chick (jade) in this incarnation of the dcu

Again, it seems DC saved the best for last, with Earth 2 and World's Finest and I hooked! Also really enjoying the new Aquaman (he is a badass now!), and of course Animal Man and Swamp Thing are just epic.
